MIT ADT University to hold convocation on 9th Jan

PUNE: MIT Art, Design and Technology University’s 4th annual convocation ceremony will organize on 9th January 2022 at the Philosopher Saint Dnyaneshwara World Peace Prayer Hall and Library, MIT ADT University Vishwarajbaug, Loni Kalbhor, Pune at 10:00 am.

Students will receive their medals and certificates in the presence of the chief guest G. Satheesh Reddy, Chairperson of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), guest of honour Aparajita Sarangi, Member of Lok Sabha Bhubaneshwar and Social Activist, Prashant Nanda, Member of Rajya Sabha, Eminent Film Personality and Social Activist, Chandrakant Patil, BJP state President, Girish Bapat, Member of Lok Sabha, Pune, Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, Founder President of MIT ADT University and other dignitaries, said Prof Dr. Mangesh Karad, Executive President and Vice-chancellor, MIT ADT University in a press conference.

The University has a practice of conferring honorary doctoral degrees to eminent personalities who have achieved excellence in their chosen field of work as a way of recognising societal contribution and to inspire a future generation of achievers. The honorary degree is awarded to Prashant Nanda and Shree Saraswati Devi Jeevan Dnyan Gaurav Puraskar award to Stm. Aparajita Sarangi.

Dr. Mangesh Karad further said that the degree certificates will be distributed by post to a total of 2205 students who graduated and post-graduated in the year 2020-21 in 13 various disciplines. Out of them, 44 students from various disciplines will be awarded gold medals and 8 Ph. D. students will be awarded degree certificates.
