MIT University donates ventilators to hospitals

PUNE: MIT Art, Design and Technology University staff members have donated four high-quality ventilators produced by a well-known medical equipment manufacturing company. These ventilators are donated to Dr. Bhausaheb Sardesai Talegaon Rural Hospital, Talegaon-Dabhade, Pune and Vishwaraj Hospital, Loni Kalbhor, Pune, also we are donating an Oxygen Generation plant of 390 LPM capacity to “Yashwantrao Chavan Rural Hospital, Latur” said Prof. Dr. Mangesh Karad, Executive President and Vice-Chancellor, on behalf of the MIT ADT University Family.

Various countries have donated and contributed in terms of Oxygen concentrators, ventilators, medicines and surgical equipment’s etc. Therefore, it is our moral duty to come forward and help society wholeheartedly for this social and noble cause. Hence, the entire family of MIT ADT University has taken the decision and decided to donate the Ventilators and Oxygen Generation Plant to the hospitals with the intent to save the lives of patients.

Prof. Dr. Mangesh Karad said, this donation will help in ramping up the medical infrastructure in the state. MIT ADT University is committed to helping the healthcare system as the country continues to fight the deadly Covid-19 virus. The country has seen in a severe shortage of critical care equipment’s at various hospitals and they are hopeful that this donation will provide urgent help to the hospitals as they treat patients suffering from Covid-19.

Covid-19 cases have risen manifold. As a result, the demand for ventilator beds have been rising. We all know that, in the second wave all the ventilator beds at civil and private hospitals were fully occupied. Therefore, we the family of MIT ADT University decided to donate the ventilators and oxygen generation plant for the hospitals,” said Prof. Dr. Mangesh Karad.

  4. Indeed, even a couple of dollars can assist creature charities with really focusing on the creatures that they have assigned as requiring some revenue from individuals.
