MNGL is also supporting Government’s initiative to set up & encourage production of CBG for use in vehicular sector to reduce polluting emissions and also to promote the vision of Clean & Green India.
MNGL has also taken pioneering initiative of award of CNG Mobile Refueling Unit (MRU) which is first of its kind in India. MRU can supply CNG with ease to areas not connected with pipeline and benefit the society. MNGL is also developing reverse engineering projects with leading institutes of India to benefit its customers with ecofriendly fuel (CNG) in the Two-wheeler segment.
Post lockdown, considering the financial hardships being faced by the auto rickshaw drivers and in order to provide CNG kits for conversion from Petrol to CNG without any upfront investments in the new GAs namely Nashik, Dhule, Sindhudurg & Ramanagara, MNGL is in dialogue with Banks and retrofitters. The retrofitters will bring down the cost of CNG kits, Banks will provide loan to the auto rickshaw drivers at a low interest rate and MNGL will bear the interest charges of the auto rickshaw drivers for say initial 6000 kits. The running charges per km with CNG as a
fuel is almost 1/3rd compared to that of Petrol. Thus, the auto rickshaw owners will save a huge amount per day say Rs.200 to Rs.400 depending on the total km run and through a payment of say Rs.40 to Rs.50 per day they will be able to repay the loan amount within a period of 2 years. Thereafter, they can run the three wheeler for its entire life. This process will facilitate conversion of three wheelers from Petrol to CNG without any hardships and rather with much financial benefits.
MNGL aims to expand the network continually to provide complete customer delight by supplying Natural Gas at the doorsteps of the customers at an affordable price. MNGL plans to achieve a mark of 150 CNG stations covering all GAs by December 2021.
