PUNE: Smita Kandekar receives PhD for her thesis ‘On Fault Tolerance in Graphical Structures and Related Aspects.’ Kandekar is a professor at Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Smita and her husband Dr. Avinash Kandekar are members of Giripremi organization. Both have played vital roles in Giripremi’s Kanchenjunga Eco Expedition 2019- Eco Project. The team of eco trekkers led by Dr. Avinash Kandekar collected important samples for research during the trek to Kanchenjunga Base Camp (India side) in 2019.
