PUNE: Pune
based leading cooperative bank, Pune Peoples’ Cooperative Bank has donated a
sum of Rs 10,11,111/- towards the Chief Minister Relief Fund last week in
helping the government fight against Covid-19.
The cheque has been personally handed over by the bank
Chairman CA Janardan Jijaba Randive and Director Subhash Mohite to Anil Kawade,
Commissioner, Cooperation and Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Pune.
Talking to Indian Cooperative the bank Chairman said, “Our
bank has generously contributed Rs 10,11,111/- towards the CM relief
fund. Besides, the bank is also working at ground zero and providing help
to the needy.”
“Through the branches we are providing the essential item kits
to the needy and so far 400 kits have been distributed among the needy people.
We are standing with the poor in the current situation”, he underlined.
Pune People’s Cooperative Bank has a business mix of over Rs
1800 crore and earned a net profit (unaudited) of Rs 12.60 crore in
the 2019-2020 financial year. The bank is having a network of 24 branches.
