Bags, a PPE kit manufacturer got the certification for the production of
Medical Personal Protection Equipments (PPE) on large scale to meet the
increasing demand, amid serious concerns over shortage of PPE for health
professionals during the war against COVID 19, Corona virus worldwide.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is special
equipment, which creates a barrier between healthcare professional and germs.
PPE helps prevent the spread of virus, germs in hospitals. PPE can protect
people and health care workers from infections.
Giving details, Rahul Jagtap, Managing
Director of Swami Bags, said, “Recently we have cleared quality tests for
manufacturing PPE kit and we are ready to provide these best quality PPE kits
in bulk quantity. A Mumbai-based standard laboratory has given us the clearance
for the manufacturing such PPE kits. We have raised our production capacity to
300 PPE Kits per day to deal with the rising demand of PPE kits. With the
assistance of Shrimant Laxmibai Dagdushet Halwai Datta Mandir Trust, we have recently
distributed 100 PPE kits to the health workers in Pune.”
Elaborating their various products for medical
sector, Jagtap said, “We are the manufacturer of all types of protective gears
required by government for laboratories, hospitals, medical facilities etc. We
manufacture medical gowns, aprons, non permeable suits, caps, gloves etc. We
have constructed PPE kit like one piece jump suit. It consist head cover, gown
and socks. We can use this PPE kits as many times after sterilization. Some of
the reputed hospitals in Pune and Mumbai are using our PPE kits. We have
provided PPE kits to Sion Hospital, Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Navale Hospital,
Sasson Hospital.
