PUNE: Swaroopseva
and Giripremi are providing a kit of essential food items to such the needy families
who got affected due to the coronavirus outbreak. Workers hailing from
different parts of the country and don’t possess a ration card couldn’t avail
of the government service of free ration in this emergency. It resulted in the
loss of jobs for the daily wage workers who are difficult to cook daily meals.
Elaborating about the initiative, a press release from Giripremi states that till today, 700 kits have been distributed and organizations
target to distribute around 1500 to 2000 kits in the next few days, The kit
consists of 5 Kg Atta, 2 Kg Rice, 1 Liter Edible Oil, Tea Powder, Chili Powder,
Salt, and Sesame Seeds.
The kit can be enough for 15 days for a family. Swaroopseva
and Giripremi along with the distribution network of RSS’s Jankalyan Samiti the
kits are being distributed to appropriate families all over the city. In the
coming days, more kits will be required. Hence Swaroopseva and Giripremi appeal
the people of Pune wholeheartedly to donate as much as one can to support our
brothers and sisters in difficult times.
