PUNE:
Cyprus being a growing Tech hub within the EU is rapidly ranking to be one of
the top location for the IT industry in the EU and offers tremendous potential
for co-operation not only in the field of digitalization but also in the
emerging markets like AI, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Shared Services, Software
computing, Banking, FinTech, IoT and many more opportunities.
In the initiative of supporting Indian FDI into
Cyprus, Crescendo Worldwide& Invest Cyprus jointly organized the Round
Table Event between Indian IT Companies and officials of Invest Cyprus Agency
in Pune.
Invest Cyprus is the government’s dedicated partner
responsible for attracting and facilitating Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in
key economic sectors like IT/ICT, Energy, Shipping, Tourism &
Infrastructure, Education, Manufacturing and many more. Their officials Mrs.
Stephanie Panayi, Investment Promotion Officer and George Campanellas,
Director General of Invest in Cyprus visited India for these two events
organized by Crescendo Worldwide.
Kaushal Shah Head of FDI- Crescendo Worldwide opened
the sessions with his welcome address. India-Cyprus relationship was presented
by Vishal Jadhav, President- Crescendo Worldwide. In his presentation, Vishal
Jadhav highlighted the opportunities for Indian IT Companies on why Cyprus can
be the strategic location for their expansion. Post this Campanellas addressed
the Indian companies on the Government support provided by Cyprus and also
explained on various Incentives & offers for Indian companies to expand
their business in Europe through Cyprus strategically.
Indian companies from Shared services, IT
consultation and many other expressed great interests in One to One Discussion
round after the event. Few companies were in talks with Invest Cyprus for
taking the next step ahead in expanding their horizons in EU market.

Ingawale said,” As a initial step of supporting more Indian companies to Cyprus
through this event Its great to see the interest of Indian IT companies
especially the startups taking interest to explore the demanding and lucrative
EU market through Cyprus and also Invest Cyprus bridging the gap for Indian
companies by providing One stop shop solution for Foreign Direct Investment in
Cyprus. Crescendo Worldwide will also support other interested Indian companies
for expanding in EU.”
In the concluding
ceremony Crescendo Worldwide offered the handholding to these Indian companies
by assisting their next level of discussion with Invest Cyprus. For Indian
companies to penetrate European Industries in terms of Virtual Office Setup,
Near shoring center for serving other major markets in EU & Middle East,
Cyprus provides an excellent base for Business.
