headquartered Atomberg Technologies, a smart and efficient motor based company
in the business of manufacturing energy-efficient Gorilla fans, launched their Gorilla
Renesa Smart Plus IoT smart fans in Pune, which is one of the most important
markets for them in India for business and growth.
WIFI enabled, app operated and Alexa and Google Home
controlled, the Gorilla Renesa Smart Plus fan helps in saving up to 65%
electricity by consuming 28W power in full speed. Currently operating in
Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi NCR, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Pune,
the company is eyeing 10% market share in the premium fans segment within the
next two years.
The fan market is estimated at Rs 10,000 crore in India, out
of which the premium ceiling fan category is a 1500 crore market, growing at a
rate of 25% each year. Looking at capturing 10% of this market, Atomberg
Technologies has already seen a 3x growth in terms of revenue in 2018-19. The annual
revenue run rate has hit 100 crores in Q1 of 2019 with more than 4 lakh units installed
across the country. The company already has more than 10% market share in
e-commerce. Products are easily available on Amazon, Flipkart and on their own
website.
Atomberg has
established a strong distribution network with presence in all top electrical
counters and markets across the city. In Pune, Atomberg is rapidly expanding
and is present in more than 120 top premium electrical counters spread across
the city. The response from the offline market in Pune has been great and the
summer season has seen phenomenal early sales of all the models.
