Sony SAB’s cast of Bhakharwadi on a trip to Pune!

PUNE: Staying true to its commitment of unlimited happiness and entertainment, Sony SAB’s latest family entertainer Bhakharwadi has received overwhelming response from its viewers since day one. Bhakharwadi has successfully touched the hearts of its viewers with its beautiful portrayal of a joint family and the cross-cultural experiences woven into the story.   

Although depicting a cultural and ideological rift between two families, JD Majethia and Aatish Kapadia have beautifully highlighted the concept of togetherness, imparting strong family values amongst the viewers. 

Set against the backdrop of Pune, Bhakharwadi is a comical take on ideological differences between a Marathi and Gujarati family competing with each other in the bhakharwadi business and more. This slice of life series stars versatile actors like Deven Bhojani and Paresh Ganatra coming back together on television after a long time. Since its launch, the show has been successful in impressing the audiences with exceptional portrayal of characters that the viewers resonate to. 

Adding to the theme of the show and visiting its root, the cast of Bhakharwadi is now set off on a road trip to Pune where the story is originallybased. The first stop is the well-known Datta Vada Pao in Panvel followed by Imagica and an extended exciting interaction with their fans at The Food Mall on the Lonavala Highway. On all the stops towards Pune, the cast will spend some time amidst their fans. 

Paresh Ganatra, playing the role of Mahendra Thakkar said,“Visiting Pune is a great feeling. The show is based at Pune and it feels like visiting our own roots. There is a sense of togetherness and belongingness in the city and the people are so warm and welcoming. I am very happy to be visiting Pune city and even more excited because it’s a road trip from Mumbai to Pune. It will be like a small Bhakharwadi family trip part 2.” 

Deven Bhojani, playing the role of Anna said,“After Surat and Vadodra now we are ready for a road trip to Pune. Visiting this cityis like going back to my character’s origin. I play the character of a typical Maharashtrian and the viewers in Pune connect with Anna. So being in Pune feels like homecoming, I am looking forward to spend some time with our viewers and visit places while we are on our way to Pune road trip.” 

Bhakharwadi has not only been incredibly successful in putting a broad smile over the faces of it viewers and becoming one of their favourites; it has also evidently enlightened them with the values associated with staying in a joint family.
