- Being Water Aware drive organized on week end 16th and 17th March
with series of Bharatnatyam Street Performances in Pune city. A series of
Bharatanatyam street performances across Pune will be performed by the students
of Anita Neve's Nritya Pooja Academy, Viman Nagar on the onset of the Holi
festival.
In a first of its kind, the students of Anita Neve's
Nritya Pooja Academy have teamed up to present Bharatanatyam Street recitals
across Pune to bring home the message of Water Conservation. The Bharatanatyam
presentations will appeal to the people to conserve water; especially on the occasion
of the Holi and will be held at different locations on the weekend before the
festival.
The performances will be held at the Savitribai Phule Pune
University, Fergusson College Road, Jangli Maharaj Road, Shaniwarwada, Kothrud,
Kharadi, Kalyani Nagar and Viman Nagar. The performances will be attended by
eminent personalities at each of the locations like Dr Praful Pawar, Anil
Shirole, MP, Shri Jagdish Mulik, MLA, Kishor Sarpotdar (Poona Guest House), Ajit
Kumthekar, Arjun Jagtap, Mukta Jagtap, Anand Saraf.
