PUNE:
ZehnX Innovation Pvt. Ltd. and Premier group in association
with Pune Police has organized a helmet and road safety awareness ride on
Saturday, 12th January 2019. The ride will start from 6 different locations in
Pune and will end at Pune Police parade ground Shivajinagar. This rally will be
guided by 10x values.
Elaborating the event, Anuj Gupta CEO of ZehnX Innovation Pvt
Ltd and Premier Group, said, “The starting points are Seasons Mall, Magarpatta;
Golibar Maidan, M.G. Road; Sanas Ground, Swargate; D.P. Road, Kothrud; Balewadi
and Autocluster, Chinchwad. The end point will be at Police Parade Ground,
Shivajinagar. Gathering and gate opening will start at 6:45 a.m. after which
the ride will commence from 7:45 a.m. and will reach Shivajinagar venue at 8:45
a.m.”
Giving thumbs up to this ride Pune Police Commissioner Dr. K.
Venkatesham said that “Every year we have fatal accidents in Pune.
Unfortunately, Pune leads in the Maharashtra and Maharashtra leads in the
country. And on analyzing the control room data, we had many calls this year so
far regarding fatal accidents making this a matter of grieve concern. According
to doctors accidents are very dangerous because in some cases sufferers become
vegetative that is neither alive nor dead. In order to get rid of accidents we
should be very alert and follow traffic rules. I am happy about this initiative
and hope citizens will take cognizance about the importance of helmet and road
safety”.
Lending full support to this ride Deputy Commissioner of
Police,Traffic, Tejasvini Satpute said that “This activity is commendable
because it will create awareness in citizens regarding the 10 most important
points of driving and road safety. I urge each and every citizen to be a part
of this ride in order to understand the importance of helmet and road safety
and keep ourselves and our family safe on roads while driving.
