PUNE: “KrazyBee”,
India’s largest micro-lending platform, plans to provide an enabling platform
for college students to embark on their entrepreneurial journey with the HedNxt
Startup Fest 2018.
Students from Sinhgad Institutes- Pune, Reva University-
Bengaluru, IIT- Madras, emerged as winners at the Finale of the 1st Edition of
the HedNxt Startup Fest 2018 conducted by KrazyBee. The winners were awarded
Rs. 3 Lakhs each for their projects. The event witnessed participation from 80
colleges across India, bringing out a host of unique entrepreneurial ideas.
HedNxt Startup Fest 2018 is a student-centric start-up fest,
where KrazyBee & WPS have joined hands to encourage the entrepreneurial
aspirations of college-going students. HedNxt, conceived as India’s first
student-centric Startup Fest, is an initiative by KrazyBee, which is India’s
leading E-commerce platform and first Online Instalment Store for students.
HedNxt is sponsored by Mi-Incubator and Kingsoft (WPS) who are KrazyBee’s
Program and Technology Partners, while Welike is the official Media Partner of
HedNxt.
Commenting on the event, Madhusudan E., Founder & CEO of
KrazyBee, said, “At HedNxt 2018, participating college students are given
a chance to pitch their business ideas to mentors and VCs and raise funds for
their start-up. I am delighted that the fest has hosted so many student
entrepreneurs, whose ideas have the potential to create a change for a
better tomorrow.”
Addressing at the occasion, Danny Chen, Marketing Director of Overseas
Business, said, “We are delighted to be a part of this initiative
conducted by KrazyBee. During this fest, we have witnessed a great number of
student participation and received positive feedback from the students. Even
though WPS is still fresh in the Indian market, many students are aware of our
cutting-edge products and services. We have approximately 18 million active
users in India.”
