PUNE: Chitravedh  a very popular magazine of 1980s and 90s is coming back again to enthral avid readers, this time in a new avtar of E Edition. Chitravedh was conceptualised by Bal Phule in 1980 and went on to become one of the most popular film based magazine. It was a pioneer in film content, with top film journalists like Devyani Chaubal, Bhavna Somayya, Jyoti Venkatesh, etc. creating stories and articles for it.

Chitravedh has an eclectic mix of articles, interviews, video conversations, unplugged music sessions, poetry recitations and much more from Hollywood, Bollywood, Marathi cinema and world cinema. Continuing with the same flavours and giving a blend of the changing times, Chitravedh is all set to unveil in its new avatar.

Chitravedh is being revived by his filmmaker daughter, Sucheta Phule after thirty seven years in a digital format. It is the first film based digital Marathi Diwali Anka (edition). Sucheta Phule informed that the all new Chitravedh features candid conversations, unplugged music sessions, poetry recitations of popular actors, musicians, lyricists.

A perfect mix of great content doubled up with videos which feature interesting facts, behind the scenes instances, interviews and many more entertaining stuff, this magazine will keep you hooked onto it for sure. The revamped version will surely strike the right chord with the new age audience which is gradually moving from print to digital platforms she said.

The tradition of reading Diwali editions is typical of Marathi culture and Chitravedh will surely redefine the way people look towards Diwali Magazine. Launched in Dubai last year, Chitravedh received a good response with some issues even being reprinted on public demand.
