PUNE: Natubaug ground on Bajirao road will witness ‘Mhasoba Utsav’ between 9-13th August organized by ‘Akhil Mhasoba Utsav Mandai’ trust which has uplifted its name across the state through its religious, social and cultural events.
PUNE: Natubaug ground on Bajirao road will witness ‘Mhasoba Utsav’ between 9-13th August organized by ‘Akhil Mhasoba Utsav Mandai’ trust which has uplifted its name across the state through its religious, social and cultural events.
In the cultural event this year, the trust is organizing state
level ‘dhol-tasha’ competition and Pune city’s best women’s ‘bachat gat’competition.
The entry for these competitions is free for participant groups and prize money
of 20 lakhs has been announced for the winner said trustee and vice chairman
Nivrutti Jadhav in the press conference.
Trustee and Chairman Rahul Suryavanshi, advisor Bhola Wanjale,
Mohan Dhamdhere, ‘Bachat gat’ competition head Sarika Nimbalkar, Umang Shah
were amongst the dignitaries present at the press conference. The event has
been specially supported by Venkys group’s Balaji Rao and is organized in the
memory of Venkys group’s founders Padmashree Dr. B.V. Rao and Smt. Uttaradevi
Rao.
Nivrutti Jadhav said, “this competition has been organized to
encourage the positive energy of youngsters in one direction through the
cultural rhythms of dhol-tasha. The dhol-tasha competition will
be held from Thursday 9-13th August at the Natubaug ground on Bajirao
road.
The winner of this competition will receive a cash prize of 5
lac Rupees, the runner up with 3 lac Rupees, second runner-up with 2 lac Rupees,
the third runner up with 1 lac Rupees and the fourth runner up with 51 thousand
Rupees. The participant dhol tasha groups from Pune will receive 10 thousand Rupees,
those from Mumbai will receive Rs. 15 thousand and those from other cities will
receive Rs. 25000. The competition will be held between 4 pm to 10 pm on 9th and
10 th August and 12 pm to 10 pm on 11th August. The best dhol
player, best tasha player and best taal player will receive Rs. 15 000/- each.
The women ‘Bachat Gat’ competition will be held on Monday 13th August between 11 am to 2 pm. The
winner of the competition will receive Rs. 51000/- , runner up with Rs. 31000and second runner up with Rs. 21000/- The complimentary
