Canon expands with new Gen-Z version

PUNE: Canon India, further expanded its retail outreach with the inauguration of its 252 nd Canon Image Square in the country. The Canon Image Square was launched in the presence of Kazutada Kobayashi, President and CEO, Canon India.

Canon takes pride in being a complete 360 degree imaging solutions provider, with its input to output product expertise. Canon Image Square (CIS) are experiential stores where customers can have complete hands on experience of the products before they buy a product. These stores provide comprehensive range of photography and home printing solutions along with a range of Inkjet/Laser printers and cartridges.

Canon India had introduced the Gen-Z version of these retail stores– Canon Image Square 3.0, earlier this year in India. The retail model marks a significant milestone in Canon’s India journey, and its transition from an experiential model to an ‘experiential imaging destination’.

Commenting on the launch today, Kazutada Kobayashi, President and CEO, Canon India said, “It gives us immense pride to expand our footprint in the country with an objective to bring forth innovation and delight for our customers. Transforming retail outlets into experiential destinations, we had started an imaging revolution this year, with the launch of our Gen Z version CIS stores. This launch is in further alignment with our future growth plans; including retail expansion and deeper regional penetration into Tier-II, III and IV cities. With this launch, we are gradually advancing towards our vision of opening 280 CIS stores by the end of this year.”
