Cheti Chand will be celebrated on 18, 19 March

PUNE: Cheti Chand, Sinddhi New Year and 1068th Birth Anniversary of Bhagwan Sai Jhulelal will be celebrated on Sunday, 18th and 19th March, informed by Deepak Wadhavani, President, Sindhu Seva Dal (SSD) in the press conference.

Suresh Jethwani, Ex-President, SSD, Vijay Daswani, ex-president, SSD, Sachin Talreja, Secretary, SSD, Nilesh Ferwani & Sudhir Ferwani were present on the occasion. Deepak Wadhwani said,”Sindhu Seva Dal organized to day festival to celebrate Sai Jhulelal birth anniversary.  

Procession of Sai Jhulelal i.e. known as Rathyatra will be held on Sunday, 18th March from Sindhu Seva Dal office cum Mandir at Padumjee Compound via MG Road at 5.30 pm onwards. All Sindih’s will participate in large number.”

“A large mela of Sinddhi community from pune and Pimpri Chinchwad is organized by Sindu Seva dal. On this occasion about 4000 sindhi devotees attend this mela. The festival will start by offering to Sai Jhulelal at 7.00 pm on 19th March 2018 and will be followed by various social and cultural programs. As well as non-stop entertainment programs. Such as puja dance and other dance by Generation next dance academy and live concert by Jatin Udasi and group from Mumbai followed by Priti Bhoj for everyone. This program will be held at Alpabachat Bhavan, Queens Garden Road, Near Residency Club, Behind, Council Hall, Pune at 7.00 p.m,” he added.

Suresh Jethwani said, “Ritu Prakash Chhabria, Managing Trustee of Mukul Madhav Foundation will be the chief guest of function on 19th March 2018. Prominent personalities Simran S Jethwani, founder & Chairman of OYE Foundatoin, Manohar Ferwani and Ishwar Kriplani of Krips Foundation will be honored at the occasion. Sindhu Seva Dal was formed 29 years back with aims and objective to promote Sindhi Cultural activities for the welfare and growth of Sindhi Community.”
