PUNE: Cinema is the mirror of the society. Events happening in the
society are reflected in cinema. Many
people know that there is a law named ‘Atrocity’. But very few know what exactly
is in this law. Producer Dr. Rajendra
Padole and director Deepak Kadam have tried to bring this realistic topic to
the movie-goers.
R. P .Production presented‘Atrocity’is being released on the
23rd of February. Laws are made and to escape the laws loopholes are also made,
but those for whom these laws are made, are hardly aware about
these.‘Atrocity’, too,is one such law, about which the society at large is
unaware. Because of this, the weaker sections of the society for whom this law
is made, are unable to get any benefit. With the intention of creating
awareness and highlighting the law, the movie ‘Atrocity’also comments on the
misuse of this law.
In this realistic movie ‘Atrocity’, they have also added
entertaining elements and music. Lyricists Anant Jadhav, Mandar Cholkar, Akhil
Joshi and Vijay K. Patil have written the songs for ‘Atrocity’, and they have
been set to music by Amar– Ramlakshman.
The songs have been sung by Anandi Joshi, Vaishali Samant, Janhavi
Prabhu-Arora, Shashikant Mumbare, Nandesh Umap and Saurabh P. Shrivastav.
Anil
Sutar and Jasmine Ojha have done the choreography for these songs. The screenplay and dialogues for the movie have been written
by Rajan Surve and Mangesh Kedar. Along with veterans Yatin Karyekar, Lekha
Rane, Ganesh Yadav, Vijay Kadam, Surekha Kudchi, Dr. Nishigandha Wad, Kamlesh
Surve, Raju More, Jyoti Patil, Shailesh Dhanawde and Nikhil Chavan, we have a
new pair, Rushabh Padole and Pooja Jaiswal.
Cameraman Rajesh Rathod has done
the cinematography, and Madhu Kamble has done the art direction. Rajendra
Sawant has done the casting, while editing and post production is done by Vinod
Chaurasiya. Biru Shrivastav is the executive director of the film, Vinod Barai
and Rajendra Sawant are the production controllers. Atrocity is being
released widely on the 23rd of February
