Atlas Copco’s Epiroc to serve mining, infra sectors

PUNE: Swedish industrial company - Atlas Copco has announced that its subsidiary, Epiroc, has started operating as an independent business and is providing customers with market-leading products and services in mining, infrastructure and natural resources.

Atlas Copco and Epiroc will pursue two different business paths but share a common heritage of innovation and commitment for the benefit of all its customers. Epiroc will continue the 144-year-old Atlas Copco legacy of being ‘United in performance and inspired by innovation’. The company will offer high productive equipment to Indian mining sector through its innovation and strong local customer support.

Speaking on the occasion, Jerry Andersson, Managing Director, Epiroc Mining India Limited said, “We are excited about the new business entity and look forward to making our mark in mining and civil engineering equipment. Epiroc will provide ergonomic products and services that will help our customers enhance productivity, energy efficiency and safety.”

Epiroc has state-of-the-art factories at Nashik and Hyderabad, and a world-class engineering center in Bengaluru. It also has sales and regional offices across the country. The channel partner network is extremely strong with a committed and enthusiastic team. Epiroc India consists of 1000-plus employees in India.
