PUNE: The North
East Legal Forum recently met Rashmi Shukla, Commissioner of Police, Pune.
The said forum works towards raising awareness about legal issues among
students and people from the North East of India residing in the city.
The relation-building meeting took place at the commissioner's office, where various issues faced by the North East people staying in Pune were brought up and discussed at length. This said, the team members also expressed interest in meeting up with police officials more often, and working with them as volunteers.
